Gonzalo Higuain insists he doesn’t want to return to Argentina. The 32-year-old forward said he still wanted to stay at Juventus.
Higuain has shined less with Juventus since his purchase from Napoli in 2016. He’s even loaned out to AC Milan and Chelsea to get his top grade.
Higuain returned to Juventus for one season in the 2019/2020 season. Instead of being okay, Higuain has even greater difficulty scoring goals. The former Real Madrid striker scored just 11 goals out of 43 games.
Well, recently Juventus reportedly wanted to release Gonzalo Higuain, who left a one-year deal. There is River Plate who have expressed an interest in bringing their former player home.
Higuain began his professional career at River Plate. He made 41 appearances in all competitions with a score of 15 goals.
“I’m fine now, I will rest and think. I returned to training on the 24th and have another year contract in Italy,” Higuain told reporters. Fox Sports.
“I have to introduce myself and see what happens to the new coach. This will definitely be a different dynamic,” he continued.
“I left when I was young and today Argentina has to open their eyes because so many players are reluctant to come back, especially for the future of their families. Many have traveled to America, China or Saudi Arabia,” said Higuain .
So far, Juventus have been rumored to be targeting Raul Jimenez of the Wolves. When the English club is ready to let go, the Bianconeri intend to swap with Gonzalo Higuain.
